IKING Abrasion Resistant Weld Studs / Wear Resistance Studs
Abrasion resistant weld studs, also known as wear resistance studs, are specially designed hardfacing components used to protect equipment and surfaces exposed to extreme wear. Manufactured from high-quality alloy steel or tungsten carbide, these studs offer exceptional hardness (commonly HRC 56–61) and superior resistance to abrasion, impact, and erosion.
They are typically arc-welded or stud-welded directly onto high-wear areas such as loader and excavator buckets, truck trays, dozer blades, crusher wear parts, and ground engaging tools (G.E.T.). Once installed, they create a highly durable surface that significantly extends service life, reduces maintenance downtime, and lowers operating costs.
Our wear studs are available in various sizes, shapes, and materials (tungsten carbide or non-tungsten carbide alloys) to suit different applications and wear conditions. We also offer free ceramic ferrules for welding and customized packaging according to client requirements.
Ideal for industries such as mining, quarrying, aggregate processing, construction, and waste handling, abrasion resistant weld studs are a cost-effective solution for reliable wear protection and improved equipment performance.
Applications:
Aggregate Plants – for extended wear life in high-abrasion processing areas
Asphalt Equipment & Plants – improving efficiency and reducing downtime
Loader Buckets – providing reliable bucket wear protection
Miscellaneous Equipment – suitable for a wide range of wear-prone machinery
Rock Saws – enhancing cutting performance and durability
Waste Handling Equipment – delivering superior resistance in tough environments
